Outback Steakhouse
Her:
Him: It's a chain: we knew what to expect. Neither of us had been to an Outback for some time and our original choice for the evening was closed for Memorial Day. We were there on a very uncrowded Monday night and were seated right away. The service was good, the food reasonable. Not much has changed since we've been there. Hot bread, which smelled irresistible to me, was served within moments of sitting down.
Yes, of course, we got a Bloomin' Onion. And we ate more of it than either of us would like to admit. But not all of it. The wedge salad inexplicitly came with the core of the head of iceberg lettuce still on it. Kinda gross and unnecessary. In the end, though, it was a good wedge salad.
My filet was good, but not great. Temperature / "doneness" was spot on. We left with full stomachs and with leftovers. It was good.
